Wales Dragonhearts coaching staff have released the names of their squad who will travel to Germany to play the British Army RL side based in Germany as well as the full German international side later this month.
The initial training squad have been through a gruelling training session at Parc Y Scarlets followed by a physical warm up match against Devon County. The coaching staff looked through all the analysis from origin games, training and the warm up match and finally agreed on who would be travelling to Germany.
The touring squad will travel to Germany by coach on October 17th and be based in Bielefeld for the duration of their stay. They will take on British Army (Germany) on the 19th and the full national German side on the 22nd before travelling back the following day.
There are two more dates that the squad will have to input in their diary before they leave for Germany. The first will be this Sunday 9th October, as they revisit Parc Y Scarlets for their final session before the tour (14:45-17:00). The second date will be one that most should be familiar with by now, as the Welsh first team will be playing Serbia in their World Cup Qualifier. On the same day (Saturday 15th October) all the players will be required to be present at that game not only to support their fellow countrymen but they will also receive their touring off field kit.
